Game of Thrones is the TV adaptation of the best selling novel by George R. R. Martin's entitled A Song of Ice and Fire and set for two seasons (as of today) to air on HBO every Sunday night beginning April 17, 2011 in the US. Game of Thrones episode 1 is entitled as "Winter is Coming" and it introduces all the kingdoms that will be involving to the seems never ending war for dominance for the ice of thrones.

A lot of characters are introduced on this episode from people of the House of Arryn, House of Baratheon, House Frey, House Lannister, House Stark, House Targaryen, from the guys of Night's Watch and from the People of Essos. Because of the tremendous positive feedback about the series, the network responsible for airing the Game of Thrones TV series decided to order for 2nd season. The king of Westeros, Robert Bartheon is introduced on the premiere as he seek help of his old friend Stark at the Winterfell south of the Wall. Meanwhile, the last survivor from the House Targayen will try to get allied to acquire force to take back their kingdom from King Robert.
