Doctor Who season 6 episode 3 is the episode of the series with a pirates theme. Amy and the eleventh Doctor got stuck with the implacable Captain Avery after they were left by TARDIS when it departs on its own. The current location of their adventure is in a becalmed 17th-century pirate ship located in a mysterious sea where the Siren exists.

They are creatures who stalks any injured crew, abducting them one by one. Rory is seems to be in danger as after he got the mark which is a scratch, he becomes the next target of the Siren.
